Two Serendra One Bedroom Condo for Rent: Expat Quality Match

Viewing in Two Serendra, Bonifacio Global City a few days ago, I had a refresher course in expat rentals much as it was my nth time in the past two months to get condos for my client, a multinational BPO company.
Keywords in our condo rental search from my expat manager: Clean, fresh, completely furnished, expat-sized furniture with a modern feel, and dressed in neutral colors. Of all the Fort condos that we viewed that day, this Two Serendra one-bedroom condo had it all. But let me not get ahead of my story.
My expat tenant said: Even if it the condo had a previous tenant it must feel new, smell new, and has no trace of its last occupant. He doesn’t want a condo with too much ‘Chinese-y” or themed furniture. Or smelly kitchens. Or incomplete appliances. Or hard beds where his feet would dangle over the edge when he sleeps.
And if first impressions count, many condo owners’ units won’t make the cut if they’ll forget to remove the smelly rubber slippers, clean dusty countertops or remove food on the table before a scheduled condo viewing. When expats say “ready for occupancy”, they mean that the apartment should look like it’s ready to move into with little additional cleaning or priming up.
We literally sweated it out evaluating four condos in my listing, walking quickly thru the clean but winding corridors of Two Serendra. He chatted that it’s his colleague’s first time to work in Manila, and that she’ll be staying only for six months. He doesn’t want her to buy any furniture or items for this rental. It must feel like it’s a hotel room–complete with all the creature comforts–but feel like a private home.
Then he walked into this apartment.
“This has potential!”, he said.
See why this Two Serendra condo, for rent at Php 40,000 per month, 62 sqm in size, has one parking slot, is fully furnished, and has a balcony looking out across to our favorite hangout, Fully Booked, made it to my Manila expat client’s shortlist.
